- • As a Sr. Financial Data Analyst at Cyara Inc., you will play a pivotal role in transforming financial data into strategic insights that drive business decisions, optimize performance, and support the company’s mission to eradicate bad customer experience through AI-powered assurance solutions. Your work will directly impact financial planning, forecasting, and operational efficiency across global teams.
- • You will partner closely with Finance, Sales, Product, and Engineering teams to ensure data accuracy, timeliness, and relevance, enabling leadership to make informed decisions in a fast-growing, innovation-driven environment where financial rigor meets technological advancement.
- • Day to day, you will:
- • Design, develop, and maintain complex financial models, dashboards, and reports using SQL, Excel, and BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) to track key financial metrics including revenue, ARR, bookings, churn, CAC, LTV, and operating expenses.
- • Automate monthly close processes, variance analysis, and forecasting workflows to reduce manual effort and improve accuracy, ensuring timely delivery of financial insights to stakeholders.
- • Analyze revenue recognition patterns, contract data, and billing systems to support ASC 606 compliance and provide actionable recommendations for revenue optimization.
- • Collaborate with Sales Operations to analyze pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and quota attainment, identifying trends and risks that impact financial outcomes.
- • Partner with Product and Engineering teams to understand product usage, pricing tiers, and consumption patterns, translating technical data into financial implications for pricing strategy and investment decisions.
- • Conduct ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives such as market expansion, M&A evaluation, cost optimization, and capital allocation.
- • Ensure data integrity across financial systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce, Snowflake) by validating data feeds, resolving discrepancies, and documenting data lineage and assumptions.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related quantitative field; MBA or relevant certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is a plus.
- • 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or business analytics, preferably in a SaaS, technology, or high-growth environment.
- • Advanced proficiency in SQL for data extraction and manipulation; strong Excel skills (including complex formulas, pivot tables, and modeling); experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker.
- • Solid understanding of SaaS financial metrics (ARR, NRR, churn, CAC, LTV) and revenue recognition principles (ASC 606/IFRS 15).
- • Experience working with ERP/CRM systems (e.g., NetSuite, Salesforce) and data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery).
- • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-financial stakeholders.
