- • As a Senior Full Stack Engineer at Peek Travel Inc., you will craft beautiful and functional customer experiences while solving complex technical problems in booking flows and payments, contributing to an AI-powered platform that powers the experiences industry for major clients like MoMA and Whitney Museum.
- • You will take ownership of critical product areas, focusing on the Customer Experience (B2B2C) side of the business by building an elevated user experience in a new greenfield booking flow, while leveraging AI tools as a force multiplier to design and operate complex agent orchestration systems and ship real product features through human-agent collaboration.
- • You will join a remote-first, globally distributed team of 'Peeksters' recognized by Forbes as one of America's Best Startup Employers and by Built In as a 2025 and 2026 Best Place to Work, where the engineering culture values technical quality, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in Elixir and functional programming, strengthen your full-stack capabilities with TypeScript and GraphQL, master AI-assisted development workflows, and grow your impact by owning features from conception to production while collaborating across frontend and backend complexities.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional development experience using Elixir and/or JavaScript
- • Strong backend fundamentals in Elixir including API design, data modeling, SQL, service reliability, and debugging production issues
- • Passion for crafting flawless user experiences with a customer experience-first mentality and commitment to well-tested code
- • Demonstrated daily use of AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or equivalent) in a production engineering workflow
- • Ability to critically evaluate AI-generated code for logic errors, security issues, and maintainability
- • Strong system design instincts with attention to tradeoffs, edge cases, and scalability
- • Clear and empathetic communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical choices and collaborate constructively
- • Self-motivation and ownership mindset, with willingness to participate in on-call rotation and help resolve production issues when needed
