📋 Description

• Senior Full Stack Software Engineer role on the Agents team with a fixed-term contract of 6 months, contributing to Mitek’s mission of transforming mobile banking and identity authentication through innovative software solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain full-stack applications using modern web technologies, focusing on scalable, secure, and high-performance systems for identity verification and fraud prevention platforms.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, design, and QA to implement features, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless integration across frontend and backend systems.
• Participate in code reviews, agile ceremonies, and continuous improvement initiatives to uphold engineering excellence and drive innovation in biometric and AI-powered solutions.
• Work within a virtual-first environment, choosing remote or hybrid work arrangements from Mitek’s Spain office or home, supported by robust collaboration tools and processes.
• Contribute to products trusted by over 7,500 organizations globally, leveraging advancements in biometrics, AI, computer vision, and machine learning to enhance user experience and security.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack software engineer with proven expertise in both frontend and backend development.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React or similar frontend frameworks, and Node.js or equivalent backend technologies.
• Experience with RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, maintainable, and testable code with experience in unit, integration, and end-to-end testing.
