- • As a Sr. Network Contract Manager for New England, you will play a critical role in shaping Cigna Healthcare’s provider network strategy across New Hampshire, Vermont, and Maine, directly impacting access to quality care and cost management for members.
- • Day to day, you will manage complex fee-for-service and value-based contracting negotiations with large physician groups, hospitals, and ancillary providers; build and maintain strong provider relationships; coordinate with cross-functional teams including Claims, Medical Management, and Credentialing; develop strategic network positions; analyze financial impacts of contracts; and lead resolution of escalated provider issues.
- • You will join Cigna Healthcare, a division of The Cigna Group, a mission-driven organization dedicated to improving health and vitality for individuals at every life stage through advocacy, education, and integrated care solutions.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in healthcare contracting, value-based care models, and financial analysis while developing leadership and influence skills in a matrixed environment, positioning you for advancement in network strategy or healthcare operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of healthcare provider contracting and negotiating experience involving complex physician groups and ancillaries
- • Background in managed care, healthcare, or health insurance, including commercial contracting
- • Proven leadership experience, including mentoring and guiding others
- • Strong provider relationship management skills with success in developing long-term partnerships
- • Knowledge of complex reimbursement methodologies, including incentive-based models (strongly preferred)
- • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
