- • As a Senior Network Security Engineer at CrowdStrike, you will play a critical role in protecting the company’s global infrastructure by designing, deploying, and operating hyper-scale hybrid cloud network security at the edge, backbone, and data centers. Your work directly supports CrowdStrike’s mission to stop breaches and secure modern organizations using its AI-native platform.
- • Day to day, you will serve as a hands-on subject matter expert in network security best practices, including DDoS defense, network segmentation, VPNs, audit/compliance, and firewall management. You will operate and improve DDoS mitigation capabilities, manage multi-vendor production networks at scale, create automation scripts using tools like Ansible and YANG, and participate in 24x7 on-call rotations to ensure continuous security posture.

🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience in network security engineering
- • Strong understanding of network protocols including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and IPsec
- • Deep knowledge of DDoS attack vectors and mitigation strategies, including scrubbing services and flow telemetry analysis (sFlow, NetFlow, IPFIX, BGP Flowspec)
- • Experience with security automation tools such as Ansible, NETCONF, or YANG
- • Experience with cloud service providers (AWS and GCP)
- • Experience with security management and orchestration tools (e.g., Tufin, Firemon, AlgoSec)
