📋 Description

• Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap for Kraken Wallet, aligning with customer needs and company goals to drive adoption of onchain financial services.
• Own the end-to-end wallet experience, including onboarding, asset management, DeFi interactions, payments, and onchain protocol engagement.
• Design and deliver intuitive wallet experiences by abstracting complex blockchain functionality into simple, user-friendly interfaces for both new and experienced users.
• Lead cross-functional execution across Engineering, Design, Growth, Security, and Operations to deliver high-impact features on schedule and with quality.
• Manage the full product lifecycle from discovery and prioritization through launch, iteration, and optimization based on user feedback and data.
• Identify opportunities to improve wallet adoption, activation, retention, and engagement through behavioral insights and metric-driven analysis.
• Monitor and analyze trends in wallet ecosystems, DeFi protocols, stablecoins, and onchain infrastructure to inform product direction and innovation.
• Partner with internal teams and external ecosystem partners to evaluate, integrate, and expand wallet capabilities with third-party protocols and services.
• Define and own key product metrics, using data and experimentation to drive continuous improvement and validate product hypotheses.
• Establish Kraken Wallet as the preferred gateway to the onchain economy by delivering secure, intuitive, and innovative user experiences that prioritize financial inclusion.
• Maintain deep technical fluency in Web3 and onchain fundamentals, including the ability to read and dabble in code, understand system architecture, and collaborate effectively with engineering teams.
• Make bold, calculated product bets with conviction, move swiftly when signals are clear, and treat setbacks as learning opportunities to accelerate iteration.
• Balance strategic, macro-level vision with granular attention to user interaction details, ensuring product decisions are both visionary and grounded in real-world usage.
• Build trust and alignment across diverse, distributed global teams, navigating competing priorities in a dynamic, regulated crypto environment.
• Champion Kraken’s mission, vision, and values by embodying crypto conviction and a commitment to accelerating global financial freedom and inclusion.
• Bring 4+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of shipping meaningful consumer-facing products, with prior experience in crypto, Web3, trading, gaming, or banking required.
