• • The Pro team is at the heart of Kraken's trading infrastructure, responsible for core components such as the matching engine, market data gateways, internal and external APIs, and a variety of other trading services. This is a globally distributed team, operating with agile methodologies and utilizing Rust for development. Your contributions will directly impact the scalability and robustness of Kraken's trading platform, which serves experienced traders, institutions, and newcomers alike.
• • Your primary responsibility will be to develop and execute comprehensive test plans, meticulously defining both manual and automated testing strategies before new features are developed. This proactive approach ensures that quality is baked into the development lifecycle from the outset, rather than being an afterthought.
• • During development cycles, you will perform hands-on manual testing to validate new features, identify potential issues, and provide crucial feedback to the engineering team.
