We empower over 100,000 restaurants in more than 110 countries with innovative software and hardware solutions designed to foster lasting guest connections. Our commitment to excellence is embodied in our "Better Together" ethos, offering Unified Customer Experience solutions that integrate point-of-sale, digital ordering, loyalty, and back-office software with industry-leading hardware and drive-thru systems. This is an opportunity to significantly impact the quality and reliability of our cutting-edge products.
- • In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in elevating the quality, reliability, and overall performance of PAR’s integrated hardware and embedded software products. You will own the comprehensive quality strategy, encompassing test strategy development, process maturity enhancement, and proactive quality governance for complex, integrated systems, with a particular focus on our drive-thru platform.
- • This position champions a transformative shift from traditional, reactive quality management to a forward-looking, data-driven approach. You will be responsible for modernizing existing quality processes, developing insightful dashboards, and significantly improving visibility into failure modes, reliability trends, and overall product health. Your insights will guide strategic decisions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- • You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, Operations, and external suppliers. This partnership is crucial for strengthening quality rigor across all stages of the product lifecycle, from initial design and development of purchased hardware and embedded software to comprehensive system-level validation.
- • A key responsibility will be to define, implement, and manage a scalable Quality Management System (QMS). This includes establishing robust supplier audit programs, ensuring rigorous quality standards are met by our partners, and maintaining compliance with relevant industry regulations.
- • You will lead and mentor a dedicated cross-functional QA team, fostering a culture of quality excellence and ensuring their work is strategically aligned with product roadmaps and organizational objectives. This involves guiding their efforts in test planning, execution, defect management, and the adoption of modern QA methodologies.
- • The role demands a strong focus on traceability, ensuring a clear link between product requirements, test cases, test execution results, and change control processes. This meticulous approach guarantees that all aspects of the product meet specified criteria and that changes are managed effectively.
- • You will partner with Engineering teams throughout the product development lifecycle, contributing to design verification activities, overseeing field trials, and managing quality throughout the product’s entire lifecycle. Your input will be vital in ensuring robust and reliable product designs.
- • Driving proactive quality improvements through predictive and scalable practices is a core tenet of this role. This involves identifying potential risks early, implementing preventative measures, and leveraging data analytics to anticipate and mitigate issues before they impact customers.
- • You will be responsible for developing and managing comprehensive test plans, detailed validation protocols, insightful quality dashboards, and thorough compliance audits. These artifacts will serve as critical tools for monitoring product quality and ensuring adherence to standards.
- • Ultimately, you will define and implement a cohesive, end-to-end quality strategy that seamlessly integrates hardware and embedded software quality efforts, ensuring a unified and high-quality customer experience across all PAR products.
- • This is a remote position within the United States, offering flexibility and the opportunity to contribute to a leading technology company from anywhere in the country.
