- • Architect and ship core mobile commerce products that are durable, fast, and clean, working across frontend, backend, and database layers to deliver measurable impact.
- • Design and implement proactive AI agent orchestration layers used by thousands of high-growth e-commerce brands on the Tapcart platform.
- • Prototype and iterate on new human-agent interaction patterns to enhance user experience and drive merchant adoption.
- • Own features end-to-end—from initial prototype to production deployment—with direct collaboration with the CEO, product, and design teams.
- • Dogfood Tapcart’s own platform and mobile apps daily to ensure quality, performance, and merchant-centric design.
- • Raise the bar for engineering craft by reviewing code, mentoring peers, and establishing best practices across the engineering team.
- • Actively participate in recruiting efforts by evaluating candidates, conducting technical interviews, and helping shape engineering culture.
- • Work side-by-side with merchants to understand their needs, deliver value early, and iterate quickly based on real-world feedback.
- • Build and maintain scalable systems that support $15B+ in annual revenue and serve 200M+ shoppers worldwide.
- • Use Tapcart’s platform daily as a merchant would, ensuring the product meets the highest standards of performance and usability.
- • Contribute to a culture where code is core to every role—engineers, product, and leadership all write and ship code.
- • Collaborate in a lean team with minimal management and high autonomy, where ownership of outcomes matters more than ticket completion.
- • Stay deeply engaged with AI tools and agents, using them daily in your workflow and valuing craftsmanship in software development.
- • Ship constantly in a fast-paced environment where software reaches hundreds of millions of end users, not just enterprise clients.
- • Maintain a GitHub profile that reflects consistent, high-quality contributions—more green than black.
