- • The Senior Operations Producer oversees the comprehensive execution of operational, technical, and logistical elements for remote sports television productions, ensuring accuracy, cost-efficiency, and timely delivery of broadcasts for ESPN and ABC Sports.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include leading all phases of event execution—from pre-production planning through on-site coordination and post-event wrap-up—managing vendor relationships, supervising technical workflows, ensuring compliance with broadcast specifications, and serving as a key liaison between Operations Management and Production.
- • The role is part of ESPN Content Operations within The Walt Disney Company’s Production & Business Operations division, supporting remote field operations for sports broadcasts with a focus on high-definition standards and cross-functional collaboration.
- • The position offers the opportunity to lead technical and operational strategy, mentor junior staff, influence budget and technology adoption, and gain deep expertise in sports broadcast logistics and compliance within a major media organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • Typically 10 years of related technical and/or operational planning, on-site management, and procurement experience
- • In-depth awareness of developments in equipment technology and procedures
- • Strong interpersonal skills, including voice and email communication, and negotiating skills
- • Advanced knowledge of technical equipment requirements for ESPN’s and ABC Sports remote operations functions
- • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- • High School Diploma or Equivalent (required); Bachelor’s Degree preferred

- • Hiring range of $117,760 to $186,230 per year, adjusted for geographic region
