📋 Description

• As a Senior Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) at Cyara, you will play a dual role as a hands-on technical contributor and quality leader, ensuring the reliability and performance of AI-powered customer experience assurance platforms.
• You will design, develop, and maintain robust automated testing frameworks for voice, digital, messaging, and conversational AI channels, enabling continuous testing and monitoring across complex customer journeys.
• You will lead and mentor SDETs and QA engineers, driving quality strategy, best practices, and continuous improvement across engineering teams to elevate overall product quality.
• You will collaborate closely with Product Management, Engineering, and DevOps to define, implement, and scale quality engineering practices aligned with business goals and release cycles.
• You will contribute to testing AI agents with AI agents, validating autonomous decision-making systems and ensuring trust, compliance, and governance in real-time AI interactions.
• You will help ensure every customer touchpoint works flawlessly by enabling secure, friction-free, high-quality CX at scale for global enterprises.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in software development or test automation with strong programming skills in Java, Python, or similar languages.
• Proven experience designing and implementing automated testing frameworks for complex systems, including API, UI, and performance testing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab, Docker, Kubernetes) to integrate testing into continuous delivery.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional, regression, load, and security testing.
• Experience mentoring or leading QA engineers or SDETs, with ability to drive quality strategy and best practices across teams.
