- • The Sr Software Eng II role at CDW supports business solutions through advanced development, experimentation, and prototyping across software, AI, and emerging technologies, blending strong engineering fundamentals with exploratory research to turn concepts into practical, supportable solutions.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include participating in applied research, translating research into proof-of-concepts, collaborating with engineering and product teams, leading full software development life cycles, determining project requirements and resources, co-leading with project managers on design and architecture, developing system narratives and UI prototypes, creating detailed design specifications, leading test plans, ensuring quality assurance, developing to CDW coding standards, resolving technical issues, making technical decisions aligned with roadmaps, coaching junior team members, directing technical efforts, completing projects on time, and reporting status to management.

🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of application development experience
- • 4+ years’ experience with Public Cloud providers (Azure, AWS, GCP)
- • 7+ years application experience with major Healthcare EMR (MEDITECH, Cerner/Oracle, or Epic)
- • Proficiency in one or more programming languages including C, C#, C++, Python, Java, or HTML
- • Experience with automation tools including Ansible and Terraform
- • Experience developing and integrating AI toolsets and machine learning models into experimental and applied systems

- • Pay range: $121,000 - $190,600 depending on experience and skill set
- • Annual bonus target of 10% subject to terms and conditions of plan
