- • As a Senior Software Engineer on Poshmark's Cloud Platform team, you will play a critical role in supporting the rapid growth of the company's fashion marketplace by building and operating scalable, high-traffic cloud-based systems that power millions of e-commerce transactions daily.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include designing and implementing new product features using data-driven approaches, developing applications on distributed cloud architectures with NoSQL databases, queueing systems, and search infrastructure, and optimizing core platform components for performance and reliability.
- • You will collaborate closely with product and customer support teams to translate user needs into technical solutions, ensuring your work directly impacts the growth and stability of Poshmark’s platform serving 165 million members.
- • Poshmark is a mission-driven company that promotes sustainable fashion through its social marketplace, and in this role, you will contribute to keeping fashion in circulation longer while enabling sellers to build meaningful businesses and shoppers to discover unique, trusted items.

🎯 Requirements
- • BE or MS in Computer Science or related technical discipline (or equivalent) with a solid foundation in data structures, algorithms, and software design
- • 4+ years of relevant software engineering experience through projects or professional work
- • Experience with Amazon AWS or other cloud computing platforms
- • Proficiency in one or more of: Ruby, JRuby, Java, HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, MongoDB, ElasticSearch, RabbitMQ, or Linux
- • User-oriented mindset with an obsession for quality and attention to detail
