- • Lyra Health is at the forefront of revolutionizing mental health care, offering comprehensive solutions to employers worldwide and impacting the lives of over 20 million individuals. Our commitment to excellence is underscored by the delivery of 13 million mental health sessions, the publication of more than 20 peer-reviewed studies, and the achievement of unparalleled outcomes in access, clinical effectiveness, and cost efficiency. The transformative power of Lyra's care model is validated by extensive research, demonstrating that individuals recover twice as fast, leading to a significant 26% annual reduction in overall healthcare claims costs. At the core of this innovation is Lyra Empower, our proprietary, fully integrated, AI-powered platform that seamlessly combines the highest quality care with cutting-edge technology solutions.
- • As a Sr. Fullstack Software Engineer at Lyra Health, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our platform and, by extension, the mental health landscape. This is an opportunity to leverage your technical expertise to build robust, scalable, and user-centric features that directly impact the well-being of millions. You will be instrumental in developing and enhancing both the front-end and back-end components of our sophisticated platform, ensuring a seamless and impactful user experience for our diverse clientele, including patients, providers, and employers.
- • Your responsibilities will span the entire software development lifecycle, from conceptualization and design to implementation, testing, and deployment. You will collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate complex requirements into elegant and efficient code. This includes designing and developing new features, optimizing existing systems for performance and scalability, and troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
- • You will be expected to contribute to architectural decisions, champion best practices in software development, and mentor junior engineers. This role demands a proactive approach to problem-solving, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for building high-quality software that makes a tangible difference.
- • Specifically, you will be involved in building out new features for our patient-facing applications, enhancing our provider portal to streamline care delivery, and developing internal tools to support our operations teams. This could involve working with modern JavaScript frameworks (like React or Vue.js) on the front end, developing robust APIs and services using languages like Python or Node.js on the back end, and interacting with various databases (SQL and NoSQL) to manage our rich data sets.
- • You will also contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes, including code reviews, automated testing strategies, and CI/CD pipelines. Your work will directly influence the user experience, the efficiency of our operations, and the overall success of Lyra Health's mission.
- • We are looking for engineers who are not only technically proficient but also deeply passionate about our mission. You should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, agile environment and possess a strong desire to learn and grow. This role offers significant opportunities for professional development and the chance to work on challenging problems with a talented and dedicated team.
- • The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions, a deep understanding of full-stack development principles, and a commitment to writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code. You will be a key contributor to our engineering culture, helping to foster an environment of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- • This is more than just a software engineering role; it's a chance to be part of a movement that is making mental health care accessible and effective for everyone. If you are driven by impact and excited by the prospect of building technology that truly matters, we encourage you to apply.
- • You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and reliable full-stack applications. This includes writing clean, efficient, and well-documented code for both front-end and back-end systems.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define, design, and ship new features.
- • Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and provide constructive feedback.
- • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems, identifying and implementing performance improvements.
- • Contribute to architectural discussions and help shape the technical direction of our products.
- • Develop and maintain automated tests to ensure the reliability and stability of our applications.
- • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry best practices, and advocate for their adoption where appropriate.
- • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
- • Ensure the security and performance of all developed applications.
- • Drive the adoption of best practices in software development, including CI/CD, testing, and monitoring.
- • Work with cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS, GCP) to deploy and manage applications.
- • Analyze user feedback and metrics to identify areas for improvement and innovation.
- • Contribute to the development of our internal tooling and developer productivity initiatives.
- • Ensure adherence to coding standards and company policies.
- • Proactively identify and address technical debt.
- • Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems.
- • Contribute to the continuous improvement of our engineering processes and workflows.
- • Build and maintain robust APIs and microservices.
- • Develop engaging and responsive user interfaces.
- • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- • Ensure seamless integration between front-end and back-end components.
- • Implement data storage solutions and manage database schemas.
- • Write comprehensive unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
- • Document technical designs and system architecture.
