📋 Description

• As a Sr Software Engineer I, Tech Lead (.NET & AI) at Zinnia Tech Inc., you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-grade software solutions that power the company’s life and annuities platform, directly contributing to the financial security of over 2 million policyholders.
• Day to day, you will work within a global, cross-functional team to write clean, testable, and efficient C#/.NET code, architect scalable microservices, lead API design strategies, mentor junior engineers, troubleshoot production issues, and integrate AI capabilities such as LLMs and RAG pipelines into real-world applications.
• Zinnia is a leading technology platform in the insurance industry, managing over $180 billion in assets under administration and serving 100+ carrier clients, 2,500 distributors, and 2 million policyholders through innovative enterprise solutions and data-driven insights.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in enterprise .NET architecture, cloud-native development on AWS, AI integration, and technical leadership — gaining the opportunity to influence system design, mentor teams, and drive innovation in a high-impact, mission-critical domain.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of expertise across the full Microsoft .NET ecosystem, including C#, ASP.NET Core, MVC, Web API, and enterprise design patterns
• Proven experience architecting, designing, and deploying scalable RESTful APIs with standards for security (OAuth2, JWT), versioning, documentation (OpenAPI/Swagger), and performance in distributed microservices
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services (compute, storage, serverless) focused on scalability, cost efficiency, and cloud best practices
• Exposure to AI integration including LLM APIs, prompt engineering, RAG pipelines, and AI-powered feature development
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and critical thinking skills with ability to collaborate in global, cross-functional teams
• Experience with GitHub, Visual Studio IDE, SSRS, SOAP, XML, and technical documentation practices
