- • As a Sr. Software Engineer (Integrations and Automations) at Allspice Inc., you will help define the future of hardware development by building the automation engine that powers next-generation circuit design for smart vehicles, robotics, rockets, IoT, and medical devices.
- • You will work directly with customers and internal teams to design and implement integrations with toolchains like PLM and manufacturing systems, build automation workflows using AllSpice Actions, and contribute across the stack—from backend services in Python, Go, and Rust to front-end interfaces in Vue/TypeScript.
- • Allspice is creating a Git-friendly translation layer and automated CI/CD framework for native circuit designs, bringing modern software workflows like version control and collaboration to the hardware world, backed by recent Series A funding and recognition in TechCrunch.
- • In this role, you will own major components of the automation engine, mentor peers through code reviews, maintain high engineering standards, and see your work impact both customer-specific solutions and the broader platform, with opportunities to expand into San Francisco or Boston hybrid offices.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of software engineering experience
- • Bachelor's degree or higher in a technology-related field
- • Project management skills with ability to lead and collaborate with varied stakeholders, from engineers to customers
- • Ability to manage ambiguity gracefully, autonomy, and confidence in being self-directed
- • Proficiency in TypeScript, Vue, Python, and/or Go
- • Experience with GitHub Actions development and CI/CD
