📋 Description

• As a Senior Software Engineer on the Admin team at Alkami Technology, you will lead the effort to modernize legacy configuration systems by designing and implementing a sophisticated Configuration Lifecycle Management system, including 'Draft & Publish' workflows and automated promotion paths, to enable zero-downtime updates for financial institutions using Alkami’s digital banking platform.
• You will tackle high-impact challenges in Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Tenant Management within the Admin Console, ensuring secure, scalable, and reliable multi-tenant operations that support Alkami’s growing customer base of banks and credit unions.
• Your work will directly contribute to Alkami’s vision of Anticipatory Banking by enabling faster, safer, and more reliable feature delivery — transforming how financial institutions onboard, engage, and grow customer relationships through technology.
• Day to day, you will write clean, thoroughly documented, and well-tested backend code primarily in Node.js, TypeScript, Python, or Go, with a strong emphasis on error handling, logging, edge cases, and long-term system viability.
• You will break down complex product requirements into elegant, maintainable solutions by applying domain-driven design and microservices architecture principles, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical excellence.
• You will actively participate in agile SCRUM ceremonies, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and provide technical guidance through code reviews, design discussions, and mentorship to elevate the engineering bar across the team.
• You will advocate for and communicate architectural decisions clearly, using your experience to question assumptions, evaluate tradeoffs, and drive consensus on the best path forward — recognizing that optimal solutions depend on context, not dogma.
• You will help shape the future of Alkami’s Admin platform by influencing system design, improving observability, and reducing operational toil through automation and intelligent tooling.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of professional experience with backend technologies including Node.js, TypeScript, Python, Go, or similar languages
• Experience with ReactJS and/or NestJS for full-stack or frontend-integrated backend work
• Strong proficiency in designing and consuming REST APIs
• Proven experience working in an agile SCRUM environment
• Deep understanding of domain-driven design (DDD) principles
• Hands-on experience with microservice architecture patterns and implementation
