- • Sr. Software Engineer - Provider Access (Remote) at Rula Health, Inc. is a pivotal role focused on solving the supply-side challenge of mental healthcare access by building systems that help providers find, onboard, and sustain practices on Rula’s platform.
- • Day to day, the engineer will design and implement scalable, secure full-stack systems using TypeScript, React, and Node.js, lead technical projects from conception to delivery, leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate velocity, and mentor junior engineers through code reviews and documentation.
- • Rula Health is a remote-first mental healthcare company dedicated to expanding access to care by growing its provider network, operating across most U.S. states (excluding Hawaii) with a mission to destigmatize mental health and deliver evidence-based, compassionate care.
- • In this role, the engineer will deepen expertise in distributed systems, AI-augmented development, and platform scalability while shaping engineering culture and contributing to a mission-driven product that directly improves provider and patient experiences in mental healthcare.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of professional software development experience building and scaling web applications in production
- • Deep expertise in modern full-stack technologies—TypeScript, React, and Node.js—with strong grasp of functional and object-oriented programming
- • Proficiency in leveraging AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code, Cursor, GitHub Copilot) to accelerate delivery and enhance code quality
- • Proven experience leading high-priority technical projects from conception to delivery, including stakeholder alignment and trade-offs
- • Passion for fostering high-performing engineering culture through code reviews, technical documentation, and mentoring junior engineers
