- • The Sr. Staff Accountant role at Latamcent supports U.S.-based small and mid-sized businesses through full-cycle accounting, month-end close, and financial reporting, ensuring financial clarity and operational rigor for clients.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include owning month-end close processes, preparing journal entries, performing balance sheet reconciliations, managing payroll and sales tax compliance, overseeing A/P and A/R workflows, supporting revenue recognition, preparing financial statements under U.S. GAAP, and serving as the primary accounting contact for clients while mentoring junior staff.
- • Latamcent operates as part of The CEO’s Right Hand, a strategic finance and accounting firm that partners with CEOs to deliver scalable accounting infrastructure, financial clarity, and hands-on leadership across accounting, finance, and FP&A functions for U.S. clients.
- • In this role, the individual will deepen expertise in U.S. GAAP accrual accounting, gain experience in multi-client consulting environments, master advanced QuickBooks Online and payroll/system integrations, develop leadership skills through mentoring junior accountants, and contribute to process standardization and financial insight delivery for high-impact client outcomes.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- • 4–7 years of progressive accounting experience
- • Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP, accrual accounting, payroll accounting, and core financial statements
- • Advanced QuickBooks Online (QBO ProAdvisor or willing to obtain within 90 days)
- • Strong Excel or Google Sheets skills (Excel certification preferred)
- • Excellent English communication (C1/C2)
