- • As a Sr./Staff Data Scientist at Oscilar Inc., you will shape the future of trust in the age of AI by developing and implementing advanced fraud detection models to protect customers from fraudulent activities, directly contributing to the safety of the digital financial ecosystem.
- • Day to day, you will develop and implement machine learning and statistical models for fraud detection, analyze large datasets to identify fraud patterns, collaborate with engineering, product, and operations teams to deploy systems, evaluate and optimize model performance, stay current with advancements in ML and fraud trends, and communicate insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders while ensuring data privacy and security compliance.

- • In this role, you will have significant ownership and impact as an early member of the ML team, shaping the company’s ML stack, advancing your expertise in fraud detection and MLOps, and growing professionally through unparalleled learning opportunities while making the internet safer for everyone.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field with a focus on fraud prevention and/or anti-money laundering
- • Proficiency in Python
- • Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical techniques with application in fraud detection
- • Experience working with large datasets using distributed systems like Apache Spark and Dask for data cleaning, transformation, and feature engineering at scale
- • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to derive actionable insights from complex data
- • Strong communication skills to explain complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
