- • Design, configure, and automate data transformation workflows using Python and APIs to integrate diverse cybersecurity data sources into Zscaler’s SecOps platform.
- • Onboard and map security data from multiple sources—including EDR, vulnerability scanners, CNAPP/CSPM, ticketing systems, CMDB, identity providers, and cloud logs—to enable exposure and threat management use cases.
- • Troubleshoot and audit the health of data pipelines across environments, identifying data quality issues, security gaps, and defining actionable remediation steps.
- • Collaborate with cybersecurity subject matter experts (SMEs) to translate technical requirements into functional data pipelines that meet specific customer needs.
- • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Services teams to align customer-facing integration requirements with engineering capabilities and product roadmaps.
- • Communicate technical findings and field insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders to drive informed decision-making.
- • Feed real-world customer data challenges and observations back into Engineering to influence product enhancements and platform improvements.
- • Manage the full lifecycle of data pipelines, including ingestion, deduplication, normalization, merging, and unification of heterogeneous security datasets.
- • Apply strong SQL and data modeling skills to investigate, analyze, and resolve complex end-to-end data issues within security platforms.
- • Maintain high standards of data integrity and pipeline reliability while operating in a fast-paced, AI-forward enterprise environment.

🎯 Requirements
- • Hands-on experience managing the complete data pipeline lifecycle, including ingestion, mapping, deduplication, normalization, merging, and unification
- • Specialized experience working with data pipelines within cybersecurity platforms (e.g., SIEM, Unified Vulnerability Management) alongside a broad understanding of vulnerability, exposure, and threat management
- • Proven ability to integrate diverse security tools and data sources, such as EDR, vulnerability scanners, CNAPP/CSPM, ticketing systems/CMDB, identity providers, and cloud logs
- • Strong proficiency in data modeling and SQL, with the analytical skills required to investigate and troubleshoot complex data issues from end to end
- • Experience working in Python to handle data parsing, execute transformations, interact with APIs, and build automation scripts
