Our rapid expansion across Colorado and beyond presents an exciting opportunity for a skilled accounting professional to make a significant impact.
- • In this pivotal role, you will provide essential support to the VP of Finance, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of our financial reporting. Your responsibilities will encompass a broad range of accounting functions, including the meticulous preparation of journal entries, the accurate recording of accruals, and the diligent completion of account reconciliations. You will be instrumental in maintaining the health and reliability of our financial records, contributing directly to the strategic financial planning and operational efficiency of Woven Care.
- • A key aspect of this position involves close collaboration with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO). You will partner with the CFO on both recurring and ad-hoc financial projects, gaining exposure to high-level financial analysis and strategic initiatives. This collaboration offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of financial operations within a dynamic healthcare organization and contribute to critical decision-making processes.
- • You will gain hands-on experience working within our core financial systems, including Sage, Rippling, and Ramp. This direct engagement with our technology stack will allow you to become proficient in utilizing these tools for daily accounting tasks and financial management. Furthermore, as Woven Care continues to scale, you will have the opportunity to play an active role in improving our accounting processes and enhancing our internal documentation. Your insights and contributions will be invaluable in establishing robust financial infrastructure that supports our continued growth.
- • The Staff Accountant will be responsible for assisting in the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met and financial statements are prepared accurately. This includes preparing supporting schedules, performing variance analysis, and investigating discrepancies.
- • You will also support accounts payable and accounts receivable functions, ensuring timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections. This involves maintaining accurate vendor and customer records and resolving any related queries.
- • A significant part of the role will involve assisting with audits, both internal and external. You will be responsible for gathering documentation, preparing audit schedules, and responding to auditor requests, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- • Furthermore, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of internal controls, helping to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial information. This includes documenting processes and identifying areas for improvement.
- • The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and be adept at applying them in a practical business setting. You should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- • This role is ideal for an individual who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to a mission-driven organization. You will be part of a supportive team dedicated to providing exceptional care to children and families. Your work will directly contribute to our ability to expand our services and reach more children in need.
- • We are looking for someone who is proactive, analytical, and possesses excellent communication skills. The ability to work collaboratively with various departments and stakeholders is essential. If you are passionate about finance and want to make a tangible difference in the healthcare sector, this is the perfect opportunity for you.
- • At Woven Care, we believe in fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development. As a Staff Accountant, you will have opportunities to expand your skillset, take on new challenges, and advance your career within a rapidly growing organization.
