📋 Description

• Maintain accurate financial records across multiple business entities including hotels, restaurants, and food service brands.
• Prepare and post journal entries to ensure proper classification and recording of all financial transactions.
• Perform daily, monthly, and quarterly reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, intercompany balances, and general ledger accounts.
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities by preparing supporting schedules, documentation, and audit-ready records.
• Monitor financial activity to identify discrepancies, irregularities, or anomalies in account balances and transaction patterns.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice review, coding accuracy, payment tracking, and vendor account maintenance.
• Prepare recurring financial reports and analyses to support leadership decision-making and operational reporting needs.
• Conduct variance analysis, budgeting support, and forecasting activities to improve financial visibility and planning.
• Maintain accounting systems including QuickBooks, M3, and Restaurant365, ensuring data integrity across multi-location operations.
• Consolidate financial data from multiple entities and locations to produce accurate consolidated reporting.
• Ensure compliance with internal accounting policies, procedures, and GAAP standards.
• Assist with audit preparation by gathering documentation, responding to auditor requests, and maintaining audit-ready records.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance accounting efficiency, accuracy, and scalability.
• Collaborate with operational teams to provide timely accounting support and resolve financial inquiries.
• Work within U.S. business hours (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST) to align with client time zones and support U.S.-based hospitality operations.
• Manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining high attention to detail and accountability for financial accuracy.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across accounting workflows and system implementations.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years of accounting experience
• Experience performing account reconciliations and financial reporting
• Experience supporting month-end close activities
• Proficiency with QuickBooks
• Experience with M3 and Restaurant365 preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles
