- • As a founding finance hire at Rilla Inc., you will play a critical role in establishing and scaling the financial infrastructure of a high-growth SaaS startup that is revolutionizing conversation intelligence for field sales teams. Your work will directly support the company’s mission to bring AI-powered sales insights to over 10 million offline sales professionals, ensuring financial integrity and operational readiness for continued rapid expansion.
- • You will own end-to-end accounting processes including month-end, quarter-end, and annual close, manage revenue recognition under GAAP for subscription-based models, oversee accounts payable, accruals, prepaid expenses, and fixed assets, and produce accurate financial statements and internal management reports to support leadership decision-making.
- • You will support annual audits, tax filings, and coordination with external advisors, drive finance system implementations (including QuickBooks and NetSuite), automate workflows, manage cash flow forecasting, and strengthen internal controls and accounting policies to ensure compliance and scalability.
- • You will partner closely with operations, finance, and leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and ad hoc financial analyses, support benefits administration as the team grows, and identify process improvements that increase efficiency and enable sustainable scale in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
- • You will gain deep, hands-on experience building financial systems from the ground up in a venture-backed, high-growth startup, working directly with founders and investors including Crystal Huang (GV) and Byron Deeter (Bessemer), and develop expertise in SaaS accounting, financial modeling, and strategic finance that will accelerate your career trajectory.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience at an accounting firm, preferably with exposure to SaaS clients
- • Strong working knowledge of GAAP accounting principles, particularly as they apply to revenue recognition and subscription models
- • Hands-on experience with QuickBooks and NetSuite for general ledger, reporting, and financial close processes
- • Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet applications (e.g., Excel) and financial modeling for forecasting, budgeting, and analysis
- • CPA certification and a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- • Entrepreneurial mindset with willingness to work hands-on in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment
