This ambitious growth trajectory necessitates a robust and scalable finance function, and that's where you come in.
• • As our Senior Accountant (m/f/d) for the Netherlands, you will be instrumental in owning the end-to-end accounting for Saltz's Dutch entities. This is a critical, hands-on role with complete responsibility for building and scaling our finance operations as the company continues its rapid expansion. You will be the cornerstone of our financial integrity in the Netherlands, ensuring all financial activities are accurate, compliant, and reported in a timely manner.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the full spectrum of accounting operations. This includes meticulously managing bookkeeping, accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), processing payments, and executing all necessary reconciliations to maintain the highest level of financial accuracy. You will be the primary driver for our Dutch entities' financial health, ensuring every transaction is recorded and managed with precision.
• • A key aspect of this role will be leading the month-end and year-end close processes. You will collaborate closely with our external accounting partners, guiding them through these critical periods and ensuring all financial statements are prepared to the highest standards. As we grow, you will play a pivotal role in transitioning our accounting functions from outsourced services to an in-house operation, building the infrastructure and processes necessary for self-sufficiency and enhanced control.
• • Ensuring compliance with all Dutch regulations is paramount. You will be responsible for preparing and submitting all statutory filings in strict accordance with Dutch legal requirements. Furthermore, you will ensure our financial reporting adheres to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and/or Dutch Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), maintaining the integrity and credibility of our financial disclosures.
• • This role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with our product and engineering teams. You will work hand-in-hand with them to identify opportunities for automation and implement improvements within our accounting workflows. By leveraging technology, you will help streamline processes, reduce manual effort, and enhance the overall efficiency of our finance function, contributing directly to our scalable growth.

This involves acting as a liaison between Saltz and auditors, ensuring a smooth and efficient audit process.
