• • **Month-End Close & Operational Accounting:** You will own key close activities, including meticulous bank and balance sheet reconciliations, accurate journal entry preparation, and insightful flux analysis. A core responsibility will be to prepare and maintain workpapers, schedules, and supporting documentation that are not only accurate and audit-ready but also designed for scalability as the company expands. You will actively contribute to continuously improving close timelines, strengthening internal controls, and elevating documentation standards to ensure best practices are maintained.
• • **Order-to-Cash (O2C), Accounts Receivable & Revenue Support:** This role involves supporting and potentially owning core Accounts Receivable processes. This includes managing billing accurately, ensuring timely cash application, providing support for customer collections, and performing essential reconciliations. A deep understanding of the end-to-end O2C process is crucial, ensuring all accounting is compliant with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP). You will also assist with revenue recognition under ASC 606, including booking and supporting related revenue entries, managing deferred revenue, and conducting thorough contract-related analysis.
• • **Accounts Payable & Expense Vendor Management:** You will support and/or own Accounts Payable functions, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the timely processing of invoices and payments. This includes booking and maintaining accruals, prepaids, and related month-end entries, ensuring all expenses are accurately recorded in the correct accounting period. A key aspect will be partnering with internal stakeholders to streamline purchasing, approvals, and vendor workflows, fostering efficiency and compliance.
• • **Technical Accounting & Multi-Entity Support:** This position will involve assisting with intercompany accounting and consolidations across Cyberhaven's global footprint. You will support the accounting for new or evolving transactions, policies, and systems as the business scales, ensuring financial accuracy and compliance. A significant contribution will be helping to document processes, controls, and accounting positions clearly and consistently, creating a reliable knowledge base.
• • **Finance / FP&A Support:** You will contribute to critical cross-functional finance projects, including budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and ad hoc business analyses. This involves partnering closely with Finance and business leaders to track key performance metrics and provide clear, actionable insights into business performance, supporting strategic decision-making.
• • **Audit Readiness & Audit Support:** You will own specific portions of the Prepared By Client (PBC) / audit request process, which includes pulling necessary support, organizing evidence meticulously, and responding effectively to auditor testing requests. A key objective will be to improve documentation, reconciliations, and workflows to reduce audit friction and significantly strengthen internal controls, ensuring the company is always audit-ready.
• • **Automation & Process Improvement:** A forward-thinking aspect of this role involves leveraging AI tools to automate workpapers, reconciliations, and other repeatable accounting processes, driving efficiency and accuracy. You will be encouraged to identify inefficiencies and proactively implement new solutions that enhance accuracy, speed, and scalability across the finance function. This includes building and improving templates, checklists, and standardized processes throughout accounting and finance, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
