- • The Staff Accountant role at Ondo Finance is critical to ensuring the accuracy and reliability of the company’s day-to-day accounting operations, with primary ownership of accounts payable. This position supports the integrity of financial records in a high-growth, institutional-grade organization operating at the intersection of traditional finance and blockchain technology.
- • Day to day, the Staff Accountant will own end-to-end accounts payable processing, including invoice coding, approval workflows, two-way and three-way matching, vendor onboarding, payment execution via ACH/wire/check, and resolution of vendor inquiries. They will also support monthly close by preparing AP accruals, reconciling subledgers, assisting with account reconciliations, maintaining digital records, and identifying process improvements.

- • In this role, the individual will build a strong technical foundation in corporate accounting within a fast-paced, innovative environment. They will gain hands-on experience with AP automation, internal controls, financial close processes, and cross-functional collaboration, positioning them for growth in accounting or finance within a high-impact, institutional crypto finance organization.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1 to 3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounting, or a related finance role, including internship experience
- • Foundational understanding of accounting principles including debits and credits, accruals, and expense recognition
- • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage deadlines in a fast paced environment
- • Proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets, including sorting, filters, and core formulas such as SUMIF and VLOOKUP or XLOOKUP
- • Clear written and verbal communication skills
