📋 Description

• • The Staff Accountant – Revenue Accounting role at Voltus, Inc. is critical to ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards, directly supporting the company’s mission to advance the energy transition through reliable revenue recognition and financial integrity.
• • Day-to-day responsibilities include recording revenue, cost of goods sold (COGS), and customer payments; preparing accurate financial information for internal and external stakeholders; assisting in month-end close processes; maintaining proper documentation; and supporting audit readiness under the guidance of the Revenue Manager.
• • Voltus is a fast-growing clean energy technology company building a distributed energy platform that connects distributed energy resources (DERs) to energy markets across the U.S. and Canada, enabling grid flexibility, reliability, and revenue generation for partners while advancing decarbonization and digitization of the energy system.
• • In this role, the candidate will deepen expertise in revenue accounting under ASC 606, strengthen technical accounting and analytical skills, gain experience with large data sets and ERP systems, and contribute to high-visibility financial reporting in a mission-driven, remote-first environment.
