Staff AI Engineer

📋 Description

• • As a Staff AI Engineer on the Agentic AI team, you will design and deploy intelligent systems that automate complex, multi-step financial workflows for global businesses, directly contributing to Airwallex’s mission of building the future of global payments and financial infrastructure.
• • Day to day, you will architect and deploy AI agents using frameworks like LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, and Semantic Kernel; apply techniques across the AI spectrum including prompting, RAG, fine-tuning, and training from scratch; design and optimize agent architectures for reasoning, tool use, and workflow automation; build systems that improve with usage to create compounding AI flywheels; and collaborate with backend and frontend engineers to integrate AI reasoning into secure, production systems.
• • You will join a team of over 2,000 innovators across 26 global offices, working within the Agentic AI team that blends deep research pedigree with industry experience to eliminate financial operations through autonomous systems, leveraging unique, end-to-end financial datasets unavailable elsewhere in the industry.
