• • As a Staff Applied Scientist at Coinbase, you will be at the forefront of building cutting-edge models to navigate critical business tradeoffs and drive significant value. This role is situated within our dynamic Data Science organization, where you will leverage your expertise to shape the future of economic freedom through innovative applications of causal inference.
• • You will be instrumental in developing and deploying robust causal inference models, employing advanced techniques such as Propensity Score Matching (PSM) and Double Machine Learning (DML). These models will be crucial for accurately quantifying the holistic business impact of new product launches, feature enhancements, and strategic initiatives, providing a clear understanding of what drives success.
• • A key aspect of this role involves acting as a leader in establishing rigorous standards for measurement across the company.
