Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Staff Data Scientist in Product Analytics for Creatives at Moloco, you will serve as the analytical and product thought partner for the Creatives team, owning the data narrative across ideation, launch, and iteration of creative features and strategies. You will not be in a support role but a co-owner of the creative roadmap, directly influencing product decisions that impact company toplines, ROAS, and advertiser retention.
- • Day to day, you will be recognized as a thought leader in the creative domain, shaping which creative problems Moloco chooses to solve, establishing a trusted and repeatable framework for measuring creative impact, and reducing ad-hoc fire drills by building durable monitoring, diagnostics, and documentation to improve transparency in creative performance and adoption.
- • Moloco is a global leader in AI-powered advertising solutions, building machine learning platforms that democratize access to advanced AI for businesses worldwide. Headquartered in Silicon Valley with offices across the U.S., Asia, and Europe, Moloco powers products like Moloco Ads and Moloco Commerce Media, driving real business outcomes for mobile app marketers and retailers through performance-based user acquisition and revenue-generating ad businesses.
- • In this role, you will develop long-term thinking and structure in a noisy problem space, gain deep influence over product roadmaps, and strengthen your ability to partner with Product, Engineering, and ML teams to drive decisions through data. You will enhance your expertise in creative analytics, model feature design, and cross-functional leadership while contributing to Moloco’s mission of becoming the scaling engine for the Internet economy.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, Physics) or equivalent practical experience.
- • 8+ years of experience in data science, product analytics, or a closely related quantitative field, including significant time as a product-facing individual contributor.
- • Proven track record of partnering with Product and Engineering to shape roadmaps, define success metrics, and drive decisions through data.
- • Demonstrated ability to operate with high ownership and autonomy, including scoping ambiguous problems and driving them to closure.
- • Comfort working across time zones and with distributed teams, using strong async communication and documentation habits.
- • Hands-on experience with creative analytics (e.g., format benchmarking, asset-level performance analysis, interaction or engagement modeling).
- • Experience collaborating closely with ML teams to design, evaluate, and iterate on model features and policies.
- • Excellent communication skills: ability to synthesize complex analytical findings into simple, actionable narratives for technical and non-technical audiences.
🏖️ Benefits
- • U.S.-based employees have access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan with company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, and well-being benefits and perks.
- • Employees receive up to 12 scheduled paid holidays per calendar year and one Thrive Day off per quarter, plus Flexible Time Off (FTO).
- • Eligibility for bonus and equity awards based on performance and applicable plan terms.
- • Moloco Thrive benefits focused on inclusion and well-being, empowering employees to do their best work.
- • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion as an equal opportunity employer with no discrimination based on protected characteristics.
