📋 Description

• As a Staff Engineer, Full Stack on the Wallet Platform at Phantom Technologies, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of accessible crypto finance by building intuitive, secure, and scalable experiences that empower tens of millions of users worldwide to manage, spend, and grow their money with confidence.
• You will own end-to-end feature development for Phantom’s web platforms—including the browser extension and website—delivering polished user interfaces and robust backend systems that bridge blockchain technology with everyday financial needs, ensuring seamless interactions across Solana, Ethereum, Polygon, Bitcoin, and emerging networks.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of new features and products, such as expanding multi-chain support and launching complementary infrastructure; collaborating with cross-functional teams to define technical roadmaps; writing clean, maintainable code in TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend/backend frameworks; conducting code reviews; debugging complex issues across the stack; and optimizing performance and security for high-traffic, real-time applications.
• You will also serve as a technical liaison between Phantom’s engineering team and its global user and developer community, gathering feedback, triaging issues, and translating user needs into actionable product improvements that enhance onboarding, retention, and overall satisfaction.
• In addition to hands-on engineering, you will mentor junior engineers, contribute to hiring efforts, and help cultivate a culture of technical excellence, innovation, and inclusivity—raising the bar with every new hire and reinforcing Phantom’s commitment to building a supportive, high-performing team.
• Phantom’s mission to simplify crypto finance means your work will directly impact how mainstream users first experience blockchain technology—making your contributions critical to driving adoption, trust, and long-term engagement in the broader ecosystem.
• Through this role, you will deepen your expertise in full-stack architecture, blockchain integration, and consumer-facing product engineering while gaining influence over product direction and technical strategy at a fast-growing, mission-driven company at the forefront of Web3 innovation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 8+ years of full-time software engineering experience with a proven track record in full-stack development
• Demonstrated interest in open-source and community-driven platforms
• Proficiency in English language for effective collaboration and communication
• Nice-to-have: Experience working on blockchain-based projects or with decentralized technologies
