- • As a Staff Engineer at CloudLinux Inc. (TuxCare), you will drive the development of Endless Lifecycle Support (ELS) and other cross-cutting systems by combining deep technical execution with product ownership, operating as a Senior Developer (70%) and Technical Product Owner (30%) to shape product vision and deliver robust, production-grade solutions.
- • You will gather requirements from multiple stakeholders, lead architectural design for high-impact initiatives, guide engineering teams in adopting scalable solutions, promote engineering excellence through mentorship and design reviews, and continuously evaluate new technologies to ensure systems are secure, performant, and reliable in production.
- • You will work on a real-world challenge: building a unified dependency graph to map the software supply chain for thousands of applications, researching how 5+ languages handle packages, designing a universal data model, creating algorithms to resolve complex dependency trees at scale, and building consensus across teams to implement this standard company-wide.
- • The team at TuxCare specializes in Linux security solutions for enterprises, offering automated live vulnerability patching, compliance support, and expertise across Linux distributions, end-of-life systems, and programming languages, enabling organizations to maintain security and reduce downtime.
- • In this role, you will develop leadership in technical product ownership, deepen expertise in cross-language dependency systems, influence company-wide engineering standards, and gain experience balancing short-term delivery with long-term scalability and innovation in a globally distributed, remote-first environment.
