- • As a Staff Fullstack Engineer at Morpho Inc., you will play a pivotal role in shaping the technical foundation of a leading decentralized finance protocol that is redefining global access to capital through open, permissionless lending infrastructure. Your work will directly impact the scalability, reliability, and user experience of a platform securing over $10 billion in total value locked, enabling Morpho to serve as a cornerstone of the emerging internet-native financial system.
- • You will architect, build, and optimize end-to-end full-stack systems spanning web applications, APIs, and data indexers, ensuring high performance, security, and developer usability across products that serve hundreds of external integrators and end users worldwide.
- • Morpho is a fast-growing, mission-driven DeFi protocol backed by top-tier investors including a16z crypto, Coinbase Ventures, and Ribbit Capital, operating with a remote-first culture (Paris or within -5h to +2h GMT) that values transparency, ownership, and technical excellence in a high-impact, low-ego environment.
- • You will lead and mentor 5–10 engineers, raise engineering standards through design reviews and improved observability, and establish best practices in API design, testing, and reliability that become team-wide benchmarks.
- • Over time, you will own the technical architecture for key product verticals, drive major initiatives to reduce latency and improve system efficiency, and evolve into a trusted technical authority whose decisions unblock cross-team velocity and solve complex, ambiguous problems in a rapidly evolving protocol landscape.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8–10+ years of experience building and operating full-stack applications at scale with measurable business impact, including handling millions of daily requests with high availability.
- • Deep expertise in modern TypeScript across both client and server environments, with strong proficiency in React, Next.js, Node.js (Hono/NestJS), and related frontend/backend technologies.
- • Proven ability to lead cross-team technical initiatives without formal authority, including mentoring engineers, driving design reviews, and improving testing, observability, and reliability practices.
