- • Design, develop, and maintain a comprehensive platform that supports internal development workflows from code inception to deployment.
- • Lead the creation of developer tools that automate and streamline CI/CD processes to enhance productivity and ensure environment consistency.
- • Implement monitoring and analytics tools that deliver actionable insights into application performance and development pipeline efficiency.
- • Collaborate with Infrastructure and Data Teams to enhance developer tooling and data access, enabling data-driven development and analytics.
- • Create and design architecture diagrams to guide the development of scalable and efficient systems.
- • Mentor and guide engineering team members to foster their technical growth and development.
- • Work closely with product managers to translate product requirements into technical specifications.
- • Architect and develop highly scalable web applications and RESTful APIs using NodeJS and React.
- • Build tools, services, and automation to expand the capabilities of the internal platform.
- • Evaluate and enhance the performance, durability, and security of production applications.
- • Contribute to server-side code using NodeJS and NestJS, and client-side code using React.
- • Ensure adherence to engineering best practices through thorough code reviews and coaching.
- • Adapt quickly to evolving business needs and transition seamlessly between different technical contexts.
- • Maintain and improve systems using technologies including Temporal, Terraform, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redis, Git, Jest, and TypeORM.
- • Operate within an AWS cloud environment, building and deploying services on AWS infrastructure.
- • Apply strong object-oriented programming skills and deep understanding of algorithms and web services to solve complex engineering problems.
- • Drive end-to-end delivery of features and products from inception to production with an owner-operator mentality.
- • Navigate and negotiate technical tradeoffs effectively in fast-paced, high-velocity environments.
- • Participate in agile development processes with a preference for startup or scaling company experience.
🎯 Requirements
- • 10+ years of experience as a software engineer with a proven track record of delivering complex solutions
- • 3+ years of experience with NodeJS and React, with familiarity in NestJS and/or NextJS preferred
- • Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or related field
- • Proficiency in Temporal, Terraform, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, JavaScript (ES6), TypeORM, MySQL, Git, Jest, Redis, REST principles, and AWS
- • Previous experience leading engineering teams and delivering successful projects
- • Self-directed and independent with a passion for driving complete features/products from inception to delivery
