đź“‹ Description
- • As the founding Staff Product Analyst at Deepgram, you will establish the analytics foundation for the product team, building measurement infrastructure and experimentation frameworks to accelerate the company’s evolution from a single-product transcription service to a comprehensive voice AI platform.
- • You will own the analytics strategy for self-serve growth by designing experiments, building pipelines and dashboards using Superset and Heap Analytics, and driving insights that increase conversion from signup to first programmatic API/SDK request.
- • You will partner directly with product managers and designers to define success metrics, instrument products correctly, and analyze experiments across the developer journey to understand API/SDK adoption patterns.
- • You will collaborate with marketing and sales analytics teams to connect product usage signals with acquisition, activation, and downstream sales outcomes, creating a holistic view of the PLG funnel.
- • You will surface patterns in product usage across Deepgram’s multi-product portfolio to identify high-value use cases, customer segments, and strategic investment opportunities.
- • You will serve as the analytical partner to product leadership, synthesizing insights across products to inform long-term product strategy and investment decisions.
- • You will establish experimentation best practices and analytical rigor as the team scales product-led growth motions.
- • You will translate complex findings into clear, actionable recommendations that shape product roadmap and executive decision-making.
- • You will build the analytics muscle for the team by creating frameworks that enable product managers to self-serve insights while you focus on strategic analysis.
🎯 Requirements
- • Staff-level expertise in product analytics with proven ability to lead analytics strategy and define what 'good' looks like for product analytics at Deepgram.
- • Demonstrated track record of accelerating self-serve or product-led growth (PLG) at a previous company, particularly driving conversion in developer-focused products.
- • Strong SQL skills and hands-on experience working directly with data warehouses to build robust, repeatable analytics pipelines and dashboards.
- • Proven ability to design, run, and analyze experiments with statistical rigor, including experience with A/B testing and advanced statistical methods.
- • Experience being the first or founding analyst on a team, comfortable building analytics infrastructure from scratch without relying on a data engineering team.
- • Excellent communication skills to translate technical findings into clear, actionable recommendations for product leaders and executives.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Holistic health benefits including medical, dental, vision, annual wellness stipend, mental health support, and life/STD/LTD income insurance plans.
