- • Own the end-to-end design experience for Perk Events, an all-in-one platform enabling companies to book event providers and coordinate attendees across multiple personas: corporate planners, Perk support specialists, suppliers, and participants.
- • Lead strategic design direction for Events within the broader Perk platform, integrating seamlessly with travel and spend management workflows.
- • Drive cross-functional alignment with product managers, engineering teams, and internal events support teams from initial scope-setting through execution, ensuring design is central to product decisions.
- • Conduct and synthesize qualitative and quantitative user research to uncover deep customer pain points, translating insights into intuitive, low-complexity experiences that guide users toward confident outcomes.
- • Prototype rapidly using AI-powered tools like Claude and Cursor to explore interaction patterns, accelerate decision-making, and reduce time from concept to shipped product.
- • Maintain a strong, informed point of view on emerging AI trends and product patterns, applying them strategically to determine when AI enhances or detracts from user experience.
- • Establish and elevate design systems, patterns, and crit culture within the Events team, raising the standard of craft and enabling others to build consistently at scale.
- • Bridge user needs with business objectives, ensuring design has a clear, data-informed voice in shaping product priorities and tradeoffs.
- • Communicate design rationale, vision, and tradeoffs clearly to product, engineering, and senior leadership through storytelling and structured presentations.
- • Use both qualitative and quantitative data to validate design decisions, measure product impact, and inform iterative improvements.
- • Work in-person three days per week at Perk’s Barcelona office, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to foster connectivity, creativity, and productivity.
- • Stay current with industry best practices in event technology and SaaS product design, becoming a recognized internal expert on group travel and corporate events ecosystems.
- • Collaborate within Figma and Git environments to manage design assets, version control, and handoff processes with engineering teams.
- • Contribute to a culture of ownership, curiosity, and purpose, aligning with Perk’s values of delivering a 7-star experience and working as one team.

- • Staff-level individual contributor track record with demonstrated end-to-end ownership of complex, scalable product experiences
- • Proven ability to design intricate, multi-step user flows autonomously, balancing strategic vision with granular craft details
- • Strong customer empathy and fluency in design thinking methodologies
- • Demonstrated use of qualitative and quantitative data to validate design decisions and measure impact
- • Proven influence over product direction within cross-functional teams
- • Fluency with modern AI-powered prototyping tools (Claude, Cursor, Bolt) and a clear philosophy on AI integration in product design
