📋 Description

• As a Staff Product Designer on the Growth team at Kraken, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of crypto by leading high-impact design work focused on first-time user experience, retention, referrals, incentives, and ongoing engagement to help users unlock long-term value.
• You will drive end-to-end user experiences by collaborating with product managers, data analysts, engineers, and designers, using customer insights and performance data to refine strategies and elevate design quality across mobile and web platforms.
• You will join a mission-driven, fully remote team of crypto advocates dedicated to accelerating global adoption of blockchain technology through secure, educational, and user-centric products like Kraken Pro, Wallet, and Futures.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in data-informed design, AI-augmented workflows, and influencing senior stakeholders while setting benchmarks for design excellence and contributing to meaningful product outcomes at scale.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of end-to-end product design experience with a portfolio demonstrating shipped, high-impact mobile and web work
• Proven ability to lead complex, ambiguous design initiatives independently as a senior individual contributor
• Deep expertise in designing first-time user experience, activation, retention, referrals, incentives, and engagement flows
• Strong UX and visual design skills with a track record of solving growth-focused problems using qualitative and quantitative research
• Proficiency in prototyping, including high-fidelity interaction design, motion, and state-based behavior to communicate intent
• Working knowledge of AI tools and workflows to accelerate design exploration and validation, paired with strong design judgment
