📋 Description

• As a Staff Product Designer at Airwallex, you will help design the next generation of financial software that is AI-native, autonomous, and radically user-centric, directly shaping how global businesses interact with payments, spend management, and embedded finance.
• You will define and drive the product design vision from initial sketches to live product, invent new interaction paradigms for AI agent-driven workflows, and translate complex financial processes into elegant, approachable experiences using tools like Figma and Lovable.
• You will work hand-in-hand with product and engineering teams to rapidly prototype, iterate, and contribute to product strategy, roadmap, and customer validation while balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• You will help shape the design culture, principles, and direction of the team, bringing founder-like energy, technical curiosity, and a customer-obsessed mindset to build impactful products from zero to one in a fast-moving, high-visibility environment.

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 8 years of experience as a product designer with expertise in desktop web, mobile web, and native app experiences.
• Proven ability to independently own end-to-end design work, from early visual concepts through polished UI and developer handoff.
• Strong visual/UI craft with the ability to design thoughtful, usable workflows and balance broad strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
• Experience working with AI, automation, or complex systems, and the ability to think through both capabilities and limitations.
• Deeply collaborative, customer-obsessed, and comfortable moving fast in ambiguous, startup-like environments while wearing multiple hats.
