đź“‹ Description
- • As a Staff Product Manager at StackBlitz, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Bolt.new, an AI-powered app builder that enables users to create, edit, and deploy full-stack web and mobile apps instantly in the browser—no installs or setup required. This role is critical to advancing the company’s mission of redefining software development in the agentic era, where users direct AI agents to build real software through taste, judgment, and problem-solving.
- • Day to day, you will define product strategy for ambiguous, high-impact areas by synthesizing customer insights, product quality, business impact, and technical feasibility; own complex, cross-surface initiatives from diagnosis to shipment; live in the product as a real user to uncover issues before customers do; co-own key metrics like activation, engagement, retention, and expansion; lead discovery across users, customers, support, sales, and internal teams; partner cross-functionally to navigate tradeoffs and align teams; ensure consistent look and feel across user groups; translate observations into clear, written thinking for the team; and elevate product thinking across the organization through example and mentorship.
- • You will join a small, fully remote, globally distributed team that is deeply collaborative and passionately committed to pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in software development. The team values shipping fast, solving real problems, and operating with high autonomy and accountability. You’ll report directly to the Head of Product and work alongside a high-bar product team that moves quickly and trusts senior ICs to identify and solve the most impactful problems without waiting for a roadmap.
- • In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a significant impact on one of the fastest-growing products in software history, sharpen your product judgment in ambiguous environments, develop deep expertise in AI-powered developer tools, and grow as a senior individual contributor by operating at a systemic level—where your decisions shape the entire product experience and drive meaningful outcomes for users and the business.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years in product management, with at least a few years spent operating at a senior IC level in ambiguous, high-scope environments
- • Proven experience in senior IC product work at a product-led company, demonstrating the ability to create leverage without relying on large teams or perfect plans
- • Strong product judgment—ability to sense when something feels off, diagnose why, and translate instinct into clear product direction
- • Comfort working in technical weeds: able to engage in honest tradeoff discussions with engineers, even without writing code; familiarity with developer tools and AI products is a plus
- • Strong verbal and written English communication skills, essential for collaboration with global team members, stakeholders, and customers
- • Proven track record of taking real ownership, moving with urgency, and maintaining high standards without needing permission or excessive structure
🏖️ Benefits
- • Fully remote work with global flexibility—no requirement to be located in the U.S.
- • Opportunity to work on Bolt.new, one of the fastest-growing products in software history, used by over 1 million developers monthly
- • High autonomy and impact—no predefined roadmap; you identify and solve the most pressing problems across the product
- • Collaboration with a small, high-bar, deeply passionate team focused on shipping fast and solving real problems
- • Chance to shape the future of software development in the agentic era by building collaboration tools for AI-agent-driven software creation
- • No college degree required—skills and experience are valued over formal credentials
