Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As a Staff Product Manager for Harvey AI’s Agent Platform, you will own a core surface that enables lawyers to describe work in natural language and have AI agents execute complex legal tasks such as pulling precedent, running analysis, drafting documents, and enforcing firm-specific rules.
- • You will define and drive the end-to-end product lifecycle — from problem discovery and vision setting through launch, iteration, and adoption — working closely with engineering, design, applied legal research, and go-to-market teams to ship high-impact products under aggressive timelines.
- • You will navigate deep enterprise complexity, including ethical walls, audit trails, governance, and multi-stakeholder approval flows, treating these not as constraints but as integral parts of the product experience.
- • You will partner with GTM to shape positioning, demos, and adoption strategies for the world’s largest law firms and in-house legal teams, ensuring the product solves real workflow problems at scale.
- • You will make hard prioritization calls with imperfect data in a fast-moving, competitive landscape, balancing innovation with reliability, trust, and compliance in high-stakes legal environments.
- • You will operate with ownership and intensity in a mission-driven, fast-paced culture where ambiguity is the norm and excellence is expected — helping to define a new category in AI-powered professional services.
- • You will have the opportunity to grow as a product leader by shaping 0-to-1 innovations in a domain where patterns are unwritten, directly impacting how hundreds of thousands of legal professionals perform substantive work.
- • You will join a sharp, motivated team at Harvey AI — a company with 1000+ customers across 60+ countries, strong product-market fit, and backing from world-class investors — where your work contributes to building a generational company at an inflection point in the future of work.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of product management experience with end-to-end ownership of a user-facing product, not just feature-level contributions.
- • Proven experience building 0-to-1 products or leading major product pivots where problem definition was as critical as the solution.
- • Strong product instincts for UX — you prioritize how things feel to users, not just technical functionality.
- • Comfort engaging with engineers on system design, architecture tradeoffs, and technical constraints — you don’t need to code, but you can speak the language of technical depth.
- • Experience shipping products to enterprise customers under real governance, compliance, or regulatory constraints.
- • Ability to thrive in ambiguity, form strong opinions quickly, and update them based on evidence.
- • Bonus: experience with AI/ML products, legal technology, or professional services.
🏖️ Benefits
- • Competitive compensation range of $213,600 – $300,000.
- • Opportunity to work on a transformative product at the forefront of AI in legal and professional services.
- • Collaborate with a world-class team of engineers, designers, legal researchers, and GTM professionals.
- • Impact hundreds of thousands of legal professionals globally through products used in real client matters and court proceedings.
- • Work in a mission-driven culture that values intensity, ownership, and solving real problems with urgency and care.
- • Access to Harvey’s applicant privacy notices and commitment to equal opportunity and reasonable accommodations for disabilities.
