📋 Description

• Lead the end-to-end product strategy and roadmap for Stepful for Business (S4B), Stepful’s enterprise offering designed to help healthcare systems upskill their employees through scalable, software-based training solutions.
• Transform manual, spreadsheet-driven workflows into robust, automated software products that serve thousands of healthcare employees across enterprise clients like CVS, NY-Presbyterian, HCA, Providence, and Walgreens.
• Partner directly with Account Executives, Client Success Managers, and S4B operators to uncover deep customer pain points and prioritize features that convert manual processes into scalable, productized solutions.
• Own the full product lifecycle—from discovery and prototyping to stakeholder alignment, execution, launch, and iterative improvement—in a high-autonomy, 0→1 and 1→100 environment.
• Collaborate with product designers and engineers to ship high-impact features quickly while maintaining thoughtful architecture in a complex, operationally heavy environment.
• Translate enterprise customer needs into strategic roadmaps that align with Stepful’s mission of expanding access to healthcare careers while meeting the operational demands of large healthcare systems.
• Build and maintain direct relationships with enterprise customers to gather feedback, ensure product-market fit, and position Stepful as an indispensable partner in their workforce development strategy.
• Define and track product success using clear, measurable metrics tied to customer adoption, engagement, retention, and operational efficiency.
• Avoid becoming a feature factory; focus on building high-leverage, strategic products that solve core workforce challenges rather than chasing low-impact enhancements.
• Communicate product vision and tradeoffs clearly to technical and non-technical stakeholders, including executives, sales teams, and operational staff, to drive alignment and action.
• Use data-driven approaches to inform decisions, including writing SQL queries to extract insights from complex datasets and validate hypotheses around product usage and impact.
• Navigate ambiguity and make decisions with imperfect information, demonstrating a track record of delivering measurable impact quickly in fast-paced, high-stakes environments.
• Operate in a regulated industry environment where technology empowers human workflows—such as cohort management, certification tracking, and employee development programs—rather than replacing them.
• Document product requirements, user stories, and process flows with clarity to ensure cross-functional teams can execute efficiently and consistently.
• Contribute to Stepful’s core values by caring first for enterprise customers and their employees, learning quickly through data and iteration, building together across teams, and owning outcomes with pride and initiative.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of B2B product management experience building exceptional products for complex workflows
• Proven track record of building and scaling 0→1 B2B or enterprise products from concept to adoption
• Strong product fundamentals: backlog prioritization, roadmap ownership, hypothesis-driven experimentation, structured discovery, and clear documentation
• Exceptional stakeholder management skills with ability to influence AEs, operators, executives, and technical teams
• Proficiency in writing SQL to generate insights from complex datasets
• Demonstrated ability to make decisions with imperfect information and articulate clear tradeoffs

• Base salary range of $191,000–$254,000 depending on level and qualifications
