• • As a Staff Risk Analyst on the Risk Analytics team at Coinbase, you will be a pivotal individual contributor tasked with identifying and mitigating account security risks. Your role is critical in safeguarding our platform while ensuring that essential business metrics and the customer experience remain uncompromised. This is a hands-on position for a subject matter expert, operating remotely within the United States.
• • You will conduct in-depth analyses of complex risk challenges facing our business, translating raw data into clear, actionable insights and strategic recommendations that directly influence organizational decision-making. This involves dissecting intricate patterns, identifying root causes of risk events, and proposing data-driven solutions.
• • A core responsibility will be to develop and execute comprehensive strategies specifically designed to combat Account Takeover (ATO) and other forms of fraud. This includes proactive measures, reactive responses, and continuous improvement of existing fraud prevention frameworks.
• • You will be instrumental in implementing real-time fraud defenses. This involves leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as behavioral biometrics, device intelligence, and sophisticated machine learning models to create adaptive systems that can quickly respond to and neutralize evolving threat landscapes.
