📋 Description

  • Architect distributed simulation systems for vECUs, FMUs, and SIL/MIL workloads, ensuring scalable execution across heterogeneous environments.
  • Define AI-enabled simulation patterns including scenario generation, model-based inference, and data pipelines to enhance virtual development platforms.
  • Design cloud-native compute platforms optimized for large-scale parallel and elastically scalable simulation workloads.
  • Establish API and service architecture for orchestration and data management across simulation and AI components.
  • Guide CI/CD integration for simulation and AI systems to ensure automated, reliable deployment pipelines.
  • Mentor software developers and influence technical direction across engineering teams to align with platform goals.
  • Ensure security, observability, and reliability standards are maintained across the entire virtualization and simulation platform.
  • Leverage expertise in backend and distributed systems to build robust, high-performance infrastructure for automotive virtual development.
  • Apply knowledge of virtualization and simulation technologies including vECUs and FMUs to solve complex engineering challenges.
  • Implement cloud architecture patterns using Kubernetes and container orchestration to support dynamic simulation workloads.
  • Integrate AI/ML workflows into simulation environments to enable data-driven decision-making and automated testing.
  • Apply data engineering principles and storage patterns to manage high-volume simulation data streams.
  • Utilize CLI-based and MCP-based architecture design for AI tooling and automation pipelines.
  • Employ ontology-based system design and architecture to structure simulation models and domain knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align simulation platform capabilities with automotive product development needs.
  • Drive adoption of event-driven architectures for simulation workflows to improve responsiveness and modularity.
  • Support the use of Agentic AI and multi-agent coordination in simulation environments to model complex system behaviors.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of ontology technologies including OWL, RDF, SPARQL, and automated reasoning to enhance system interoperability.
  • Implement advanced ML workflow components such as feature stores, model serving, and vector databases to power AI-enhanced simulations.
  • Design enterprise-scale simulation platforms that meet the demands of global automotive development teams.
  • Contribute to automotive domain modeling and ontology development to align simulation systems with real-world vehicle systems.

🎯 Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in software architecture, simulation, or distributed systems
  • Expertise in backend and distributed systems
  • Experience with virtualization and simulation (vECUs, FMUs, SIL)
  • Strong cloud architecture skills
  • Experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration
