Your frameworks will be the invisible backbone that lets 300 million users stream their favorite shows without a single hiccup.
• • Drive the company-wide shift-left initiative by embedding quality gates directly into every pull request. You’ll design deterministic, flake-free suites that developers trust so deeply that releases can go live without manual QA sign-off—true hands-free deployment.
• • Partner shoulder-to-shoulder with Product Managers, UX researchers, and feature teams to translate ambitious roadmaps into testable, measurable acceptance criteria. Whether it’s a personalized discovery carousel or a 4K HDR live sports stream, you’ll ensure pixel-perfect and frame-perfect delivery.
• • Build resilient backend test harnesses that validate RESTful microservices, data-migration pipelines, blue-green and canary deployments, failover scenarios, and multi-region replication. Your tooling will simulate peak IPL-final traffic to guarantee rock-solid performance at JioHotstar scale.
• • Create self-healing, cloud-native test infrastructure on AWS/GCP that spins up ephemeral device farms, parallelizes execution, and auto-scales based on commit frequency. You’ll treat infrastructure as code, using Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes to keep costs low and reliability sky-high.
• • Establish company-wide quality metrics—MTTR, test coverage, escape defect rate—and publish living dashboards that every squad consults daily. When the numbers dip, you’ll lead blameless post-mortems and implement systemic fixes.
• • Mentor senior and junior SDETs through crisp design docs, pair programming, and guild talks. Champion best practices in OOP, clean code, unit testing, and code reviews so that quality becomes everyone’s default mindset.
• • Contribute directly in an individual capacity: spike on emerging tools (Jetpack Compose UI testing, XCUITest native execution, Playwright cross-browser grids), prototype in hackathons, and ship production-grade solutions within weeks, not months.
• • Own App Store readiness—automated screenshot generation, metadata validation, phased rollout monitoring—so that every release sails through Google Play and Apple App Store reviews on the first attempt.
• • Finally, embody a relentless problem-solving attitude: when a 3 AM alert fires because a CDN edge node drops frames in Brazil, you’ll triage, reproduce, and patch the test gap before sunrise, ensuring our global audience never notices.
