- • Architect, build and scale the core services that power G-P’s Global Employment Platform™, enabling thousands of companies to hire, onboard and manage talent in 180+ countries without setting up local entities.
- • Own end-to-end delivery of high-impact product features—from ideation and technical design through coding, testing, deployment and post-launch optimization—while maintaining 99.9 % uptime for mission-critical workflows such as global payroll, benefits administration and compliance reporting.
- • Lead a small, high-performing engineering squad (3–5 engineers) by example: write exemplary code, conduct rigorous design and code reviews, mentor engineers across all levels and foster a culture of psychological safety, continuous learning and relentless customer focus.
- • Partner daily with Product, Legal, Compliance, Finance and Customer Success to translate complex global employment regulations into elegant, automated software solutions that reduce manual effort by 80 % and cut onboarding time from weeks to hours.
- • Drive technical strategy and roadmap for your domain; evaluate emerging technologies (e.g., serverless, event-driven architectures, AI-driven compliance engines) and make build-vs-buy decisions that balance short-term velocity with long-term scalability.
- • Champion engineering excellence by defining and enforcing best practices for observability, security, performance and accessibility; implement automated testing strategies that achieve >85 % code coverage and enable multiple daily releases with zero-downtime deployments.
- • Contribute to G-P’s remote-first culture by leading virtual guilds, brown-bag sessions and open-source initiatives; author internal tech blogs and speak at meetups to share lessons learned from operating a truly global, multi-region SaaS platform.
- • Tackle gnarly distributed-systems challenges—think cross-border data residency, low-latency global APIs, multi-currency financial transactions and real-time tax calculations—while ensuring GDPR, SOC 2, ISO 27001 and regional labor-law compliance.
- • Instrument and analyze product telemetry to identify bottlenecks and growth levers; leverage data-driven insights to prioritize engineering investments that directly improve customer NPS and revenue retention.
- • Act as a key escalation point for production incidents, performing root-cause analyses and implementing preventive measures that strengthen platform resilience and customer trust.
