📋 Description

• Design, develop, test, and debug high-quality software applications and APIs following established coding standards and best practices, with a focus on scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and architectural designs, providing input on feasibility and technical approaches for new features.
• Lead technical design reviews, influence engineering standards, and make architecture decisions for teams of 5+ software engineers across multiple active projects.
• Conduct code reviews to maintain code quality, ensure consistency, and foster knowledge sharing across the engineering team, offering constructive feedback to enhance codebase integrity.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software defects using analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to deliver efficient and reliable solutions.
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including system architecture diagrams, design documents, and user guides, and communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with DevOps, quality assurance, and product teams to ensure seamless integration of software components and successful product releases.
• Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and performance tests; implement automated testing frameworks to streamline validation and improve software reliability.
• Guide the team in adopting AI-assisted development tools to enhance engineering productivity, code quality, and developer workflows.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices; propose and implement process improvements to increase development efficiency and product quality.
• Utilize Git and other version control systems to manage source code changes in a distributed team environment, ensuring collaborative and traceable development workflows.
• Leverage relational and NoSQL databases for data modeling, optimization, and performance tuning in production-scale applications.
• Influence technical strategy across teams, gain alignment on long-term technical direction, and unblock execution through strong communication, collaboration, and creativity.
• Work within Agile development environments using tools like Jira to manage tasks, sprints, and project timelines.
• Participate in on-call rotations to ensure system reliability and rapid response to production incidents.
• Operate in a fast-paced, remote-first environment with a team-based culture that values accountability, authenticity, and persistence.
• Contribute to building and selling products the team believes in, with customers guiding all product and engineering decisions.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of hands-on experience developing software in Golang
• 4+ years of experience designing, deploying, and operating services in Kubernetes-based environments
• 4+ years of experience designing and building scalable, high-performing APIs with attention to reliability, operability, maintainability, and long-term technical direction
• Proven track record of providing technical leadership, including driving technical design reviews and making architecture decisions for teams of 5+ software engineers
• Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools to improve engineering productivity and code quality
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and performance optimization
