- • As a Staff Software Engineer at Solace Corporation, you will be a hands-on technical leader driving architectural decisions and technical excellence across the full stack while writing production code daily to scale a mission-critical healthcare platform that empowers patients with expert advocacy tools.
- • You will own end-to-end development of key product features from database models to UI components, serve as a technical leader mentoring engineers, conducting code reviews, improving development workflows, and collaborating with product and design to translate complex requirements into scalable solutions while architecting and optimizing systems for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- • Solace is a Series C healthcare technology startup founded in 2022 with a $1B valuation, backed by top-tier VCs including Inspired Capital, Craft Ventures, and IVP, operating with a lean, mission-driven U.S.-based team dedicated to fixing the broken U.S. healthcare system by improving patient health literacy and outcomes through expert advocacy and decision-support tools.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in full-stack system architecture, technical leadership, and mentorship while shaping the technical direction of a high-impact product, gaining experience in scaling platforms in fast-paced startup environments, and contributing to meaningful healthcare innovation that directly improves patient outcomes.
- • You will champion best practices in code quality, testing, CI/CD, and system optimization, proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks in both technical architecture and team processes, and leading large releases to production on a continuous deployment cadence, all while working with a modern TypeScript-centric stack including React, NestJS, Postgres, Redis, and Heroku.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of full-stack engineering experience with deep expertise in both frontend and backend technologies
- • Mastery of React, TypeScript, and Node.js with a proven track record of shipping production-grade applications
- • Strong background in scalable system design, API development, and database architecture
- • Experience working in fast-paced startup environments building and shipping products from scratch
- • Ability to set technical direction and mentor engineers, helping them grow in their craft
- • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to tackle complex technical challenges with pragmatic solutions
- • Extreme bias toward action and execution—moving fast, iterating quickly, and getting things done
