- • As a Staff Software Engineer at Dandy Technology, Inc., you will play a pivotal role in transforming the $200B dental industry by building the operating system for dental offices worldwide, directly impacting how clinicians deliver care through innovative technology solutions.
- • You will define technical strategy for new 0-to-1 products while co-driving product strategy with cross-functional partners, ensuring technical decisions align with visionary goals and pragmatic execution to elevate the clinical experience.
- • Day to day, you will lead engineering efforts across the full stack—from architecture and implementation to delivery—guiding teams through ambiguity and rapid iteration without sacrificing long-term quality or reliability.
- • You will serve as a technical thought partner to product and design, grounding decisions in both strategic vision and executable plans, while upholding a high bar for engineering quality, operational excellence, and system reliability.
- • You will shape and reinforce a team culture centered on speed, experimentation, and continuous learning, mentoring engineers through design reviews, pairing, and strategic planning to raise the collective technical bar.
- • You will act as a steward for the long-term technical health and direction of the team, influencing standards for quality, velocity, and innovation while driving ownership and fast execution across initiatives.
- • You will collaborate closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to explore new ideas across the dental care journey—such as smarter workflows and real-time feedback—that drive user delight, improve clinical outcomes, and advance Dandy’s mission.

🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of software engineering experience, including leading complex product initiatives
- • Strong track record of driving 0-to-1 product development in dynamic, high-growth environments
- • Deep fluency with modern web technologies (React, TypeScript, GraphQL, Python, etc.)
- • Proven ability to influence team culture and set standards for quality, velocity, and innovation
- • Excellent communicator with strong cross-functional collaboration skills
- • Product-minded and user-obsessed — you think in outcomes, not just outputs
