Staff Software Engineer

📋 Description

• • As a Staff Software Engineer at Twilio, you will harden, optimize, and scale the real-time event-aggregation services powering the Observability Insights/Analytics platform, enabling hundreds of thousands of businesses and millions of developers to build personalized customer experiences.
• • Day to day, you will design, build, and maintain high-performance Java microservices using Spring Boot to ingest >250K events/sec with p99 latency under 200ms, implement stateful stream-processing pipelines with Kafka Streams or Flink, optimize ClickHouse for sub-second queries, embed OpenTelemetry for observability, champion DevSecOps practices, and mentor junior engineers through code and design reviews.
